Cerasuolo di Vittoria is the only wine in all of Sicily with DOCG status — the highest quality designation in Italian wine. It’s made in the southeast corner of the island, around the town of Vittoria, where warm Mediterranean sun meets breezes off the sea. Wikipedia+1
What makes this wine unique? It’s a blend of two native grapes:
Nero d’Avola – gives structure, color, and juicy fruit
Frappato – brings fresh aromatics and bright red fruit notes
Together they make a wine that’s juicy, smooth, and aromatic — with a fresh, medium-bodied style that’s incredibly easy to enjoy. Wikipedia
